80' Babies Listen Up!

Remember Mario Kart??? Omfg. I saw this video and immediately fell in love. This guy wrote this song for Mario and the Princess. He is genius. Just click play and your heart will melt! Only the 80's babies would understand. lol. Because we were obsessed with Mario growing up, even the girls. lol Oh, and I love Susan Boil's voice and that song she sang, I almost cried.

Dodger Theme Baby Diaper Cake!!!

The perfect baby shower gift is the infamous diaper cake! This is the ultimate gift of the baby shower. My BBF's (Lindsey Benevidz) baby shower. I made this diaper cake with Lindsey and TJ's love for LA Dodgers in mind. They are obviously having a boy, the baby shower is in May. It took 2 hours, 91 diapers and a bunch of mini necessities for the soon to be's. And lotza love love love!!!:-) Tell me what you think.

Dodger Theme Diaper Cake

-"My 1st Dodger T-shirt" for baby size 0-3 months
-Dodger Baseball card (depending on supply)
- Johnson Baby powder and hand wash MINIs (1.5 oz)
-Johnson Diaper 3 in 1 Rash Cream (3oz)

-Hand sanitizer MINI (1.5 oz)
- 2 Newborn spoons
-Baby Boy center piece at the top

The tyranny!!!

Wow, I am one bummed out little girl right now. So I went to the hospital on March 31st at 9AM. I was nervous, scared, anxious, ecstatic, almost every emotion you could imagine built up inside me since the night before. The nurse called me in, walked me into the restroom, brought my clothes to change into, weighted me, asked for a urine sample, and then had me get dressed and go lay in the bed with the comfy blanket warmer. So they finally called in my hubby and allowed him to sit in there with me until the procedure started (11AM). The nurse put the IV in my left hand. When my hubby walked in the room and sat next to me, I realized that 'wow, all this is really real.' For the last 10 weeks I did not believe that I was really going to go through with the procedure. Even after we went to the counsel, got my prescriptions, quit drinking, giving up all my weekends to put in extra hours at work, paid $6000 for the breast augmentation, I still felt like it wasn't real. But at this moment and at this time, I realized that all my hard work and savings and patience have paid off and by 1pm today I would be boobilicious!!!
-After all that excitement, I did not end up getting my breast augmentation that day due to minor complications but I did reschedule for April 20, the Tuesday after I get back from Coachella. I guess it happened for a reason because at that time my chest was still tight and I was really afraid of going under the anesthesia, I only quit smoking 3 days before the surgery date and its recommended to quit one month ahead of time. Its better this way also because then I won't be in pain when I'm at the festival. Maybe I'm just trying to look on the brighter side. I'm still very disappointed though.

Here are some cute tickers I found to help motivate myself and move me towards a healthier and happier lifestyle... hey, its a start and you gotta start somewhere ;-)
